Dating Tips from the Millionaire's Club

Patti Stanger has developed quite the following with her hysterical wit, razor tongue, and extreme knack for matchmaking services. She offers levelheaded, sometimes in-your-face advice that makes even the biggest doubter believe that any person can find love - if you don't act like an idiot in the process.

You can catch the whole Millionaire's Club team; Patti, Destin, Chelsea, and Rachel, on Bravo's hit TV show "The Millionaire Matchmaker."

If you can't wait until the new season begins, then check out the tips we got from them below.

What is the biggest mistake people can make when dating?

Projecting, drinking too much, and miscommunication.

Worst place to take someone on a first date?

Any place that is noisy. You want to take your date somewhere romantic and quiet - so you can hear and get to know each other.

Best place to take someone on a first date?

Be old-fashioned, a nice dinner. If old-fashioned isn't your thing - be different! A carnival, boat ride, you can even cap it off with rooftop drinks. Just not too many!

Touchy subjects to avoid when first going out with someone?

Talking about exes.

Biggest turn-off?

Being insecure and not having manners.

What should a woman not wear?

Don't show too much skin, but show enough skin, i.e., if you are showing off your cleavage don't show so much leg. You want to keep them wanting more and keep them guessing a bit. Also, you don't want to look easy.

What is the best piece of dating advice Millionaire's Club could give?

Be secure, be confident, don't drink too much.

When do you take your significant other to meet the parents?

After you have talked about your future together and you are exclusive

If you aren't sure about the guy/girl you are dating, how many dates do you go on before you cut it off?

As many as you want. Your gut will tell you if you are into the person or not. If you don't want to make out with them, then that is a pretty good indication that it is a no go.

What is one must-read chapter in the book, "Become Your Own Matchmaker."

Chapter Four: Qualifying the Buyer. Know what you want and how to get it.
